How do I volunteer to be a coach or manager at Atlee Little League?
As a Little League International chartered member, we are required to obtain a background check on all persons working with the children in our program. These persons will consist of, but not exclusively, team managers, coaches, scorekeepers, and umpires. All managers and coaches must be approved by the Atlee Little League Board of Directors. Those persons interested in being a team manager and/or coach for the upcoming season must register in our system to start the approval process.
Volunteer Registration:
- Log into your account on our website
- Click the volunteer tab. The tab will then show you a list of all positions available
- Select the position in which you are applying
- Complete the questions
- Submit
Once you have registered in the system, the league will then send you a link to complete your background check through JDP. JDP is the approved background check supplier of Little League International. Atlee Little League will no longer require you to submit a paper or email copy of the volunteer application. You, the volunteer, will be solely responsible for entering your own information. The league will receive a report on who has submitted their applications through JDP. A volunteer cannot be considered and/or approved as a team manager or coach unless your application has been submitted.
The Atlee Little League Board of Directors takes very seriously the safety and well being of our children in the program. We thank you in advance for assisting us in ensuring that we are complying with all Federal, State, and Little League regulations.

I logged in and filled out the volunteer form, but there didn’t seem to be any place to actually submit the form. The Find a Role screen says I’ve already volunteered, however.

I’m interested in volunteering in some fashion, if it fits my schedule, but I do not have experience coaching/managing. Is there some capacity in which I can help?
