Atlee Little League is a proud charter member of Little League International. As a chartered member, there are certain rules and regulations that our league must abide by in regards to league boundaries and school attendance.
Every season, we field many questions in regards to player participation eligibility. This page has been designed to help our parents with their questions and to provide the necessary forms.
Please click little league finder, to verify which league your child belongs in according to his residence.
Starting in 2014, players who attended a school within a particular leagues boundaries were afforded the same opportunity to participate, as if they resided within the league boundaries. All participants playing with a valid school enrollment form are post season eligible.
Q. What schools are located within the Atlee Little League boundaries?
A. Cool Springs ES, Washington Henry ES, Pearson’s Corner ES, Kersey Creek ES, Rural Point ES, Chickahominy MS, Oak Knoll MS, Atlee High School, and Hanover High School.
Q. Do I need to provide the school enrollment form every season that my child participates?
A. No, The school enrollment form only needs to updated with the league when information located on the form changes. Information such as the school and address are the most common reasons for resubmission.
Q. We reside outside of the league boundaries, but only one of my children attends a school within our league boundaries (listed above). Can siblings that do not attend a school within your boundaries still participate?
A. Yes, just as long as the child that attends a school within our boundaries is registered for the current season with Atlee Little League. A school enrollment form will need to be completed and you will also need to contact the league president requesting a waiver to be filed.
Q. My child does not reside within the Atlee Little League boundaries nor does he/she attend a qualifying school. Are there any other options available for my child to participate at Atlee Little League?
A. Yes, A waiver can be filed with the Little League Charter Committee. This waiver can only be approved by the Little League Charter Committee. The process can be initiated by contacting the league president.
A waiver must be filed and approved each season before you can register your child to participate at Atlee Little League. No league official can guarantee its approval. If approval is granted, the waiver most likely will only be for regular season privileges only. Please contact the league president as other waiver options maybe available to you.
