Online registration for the Spring 2021 season will remain open through Sunday February 7th. Atlee Little League will host a series of walk in registrations during the winter.
Walk In Registrations:
All new participants are urged to register in person. Please bring drivers license or state id, copy of child’s birth certificate and a current utility bill to show proof of residency. For more information regarding eligibility click here.
We will conduct walk in registrations at the new Atlee Branch Library located at 9212 Rutlandshire Dr, Mechanicsville on the following dates:
January 9th: 10am-1:30pm
January 23rd: 10am-1:30pm
Due to COVID restrictions at the library, please wear a mask at all times within the building. We can only have 20 people in the conference room at a time so please minimize the number of people you bring with you to the registration.
We urge all new players to register in person. If your child is new to the league, please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate along with a current utility bill or other proof of local residence.

In 2021, Atlee Little League will be entering its 54th season in providing our community with the facilities and opportunity to participate in Little League Baseball, Softball and Challenger programs. We look forward to serving the kids and families of our community once again.

Registration Dates: Please note that registration deadlines are different for 2021
Tee Ball, Coach Pitch and Baseball Minors 6/7: 11/1/2020 thru 2/28/2021
Baseball and Softball Minors 7/8 and up: 11/1/2020 thru 2/7/22021
Registration will begin November 1st. In the closing days of registration, some divisions will start reaching capacity. We urge all to register early to avoid any possible division closures. Once registration closes, Atlee Little League will accept late registrations only if availability remains to fill out teams. At that time your child may be wait listed until assigned a team. A $50.00 late fee will be assessed to all late registrations. This late fee maybe waived by the league, due to unforeseen circumstances or hardship that prevents a family from registering by the closing date.
Families that register late may experience a delay in receiving their child’s uniform. Late registrants uniform information will be sent to our suppliers in a batch once per week in order to keep cost down and efficiency up.
All children that reside within our boundaries or attend a qualifying school within our boundaries and who’s league age falls within the age requirements of our programs will be eligible to participate at Atlee Little League. Atlee Little League has many families with multiple children that participate in league programs during the spring season. Atlee Little League will continue to honor the $350.00 maximum charge per family. The family max will not include a child participating in multiple divisions, uniform extras or all star fees.
2021 Spring Registration Fees:
- Tee Ball/Coach Pitch: $ 100.00
- Baseball Minors 6/7 and up: $ 155.00
- Softball Minors 7/8 and up: $ 150.00
- Challenger Division: Free
Your 2021 Division Directors:
Division Directors are responsible for conducting player evaluations (in player evaluation eligible divisions), managing player drafts or team assignment, and shall oversee the player selection process for post season teams within their division. The division director shall also be the first point of contact for all managers, coaches, and parents within their assigned division.

Play With Requests:
Requests will reviewed on an individual basis. Due to the draft system employed in Minors 6/7 and above, the league cannot honor play with requests in these divisions. This helps the league maintain the fair and competitive balance of the division. All siblings registered within the same division will automatically be paired together. All requests shall be sent to the respective division director.
Atlee Little League understands that circumstances may arise that may hinder a families ability to pay for registration fees. If you have a situation that prevents your family from registering your children, please contact the league president. Your email should include your children’s name(s), what kind of assistance you are requesting, and a brief reason why you are making such request. The five members of the Executive Board will review all requests. Financial assistance can range from partial to full scholarship. The league also has the ability to offer your family a payment plan.
Each player will be receive a hat (crazy socks for girl’s softball) and a shirt as a part of their registration fees. for Spring 2019, parents will now have the option to purchase pants and sock/belt combos. Pant and belt/sock combo colors will be determined by team manager.

- Girls Softball: Mid-calf ,belted knicker style
Pants will be made available at the walk in registration dates, if you wish to size them before purchasing.
Belt/Sock Combo: $ 13.00
Belt Only Option: $ 7.00 (This is a softball program only offering. Atlee Little League supplies all registrants with a pair of crazy socks)

Opening Day 2021: Saturday, April 17th
Atlee Little League over the years has celebrated each season with opening day. This year will be no different. We will begin assembling teams around 11:30am to begin opening ceremonies for our 54th season at 12:00pm.
Festivities will include bounce houses, games, raffles, vendors and more. Our concession stand will be open as well to serve you. More details will be coming soon…
Picture Day: Saturday, May 1st

The practice season will typically start by the first week of March and continue through the end of March. Teams will be scheduled a minimum of one practice during the week and one practice on Saturday. Due to the high number of participants older age divisions (majors and up) should expect to have practices start around 7:45pm during the week. Practice times on Saturday will be random. Teams will also be randomly scheduled through the week.
The game season will start at the end of March and continue through the second week of June. Divisions that incorporate playoffs into their schedules can expect playoffs to conclude by the beginning of June. All other divisions continue play through the end of the school year. Teams should expect one to three games per week depending on division and if any games are needed to rescheduled due to weather. Games will only be scheduled on Sunday if extreme circumstances warrant the league to do so. During the game season, the older age divisions (majors and up), should expect to have game times starting at 7:45pm. All games shall be concluded by 10:00pm. All teams in every division will be scheduled a minimum of twelve games not including playoffs. No games are scheduled for the week of spring break or Memorial Day weekend. Atlee Little League will be exploring opportunities in scheduling some baseball/softball majors weekday games at a 6pm start time in order to be more family friendly to those with elementary aged kids playing in the majors divisions.
